This term you will continue to learn about Changing cities. Home Learning lessons will be uploaded to Teams for you to complete independently and there is a workbook that has been sent home which you can complete in addition to this. You should be scheduled to receive two live lessons a week.

To access Microsoft Teams, you should go to www.office.com and use your school email and password to log on. You can then use this on your web browser for free. This includes any Office products, including Word and PowerPoint.

If you have any questions or would like any of the work you have completed to be marked. Please email either myself of your class teacher.


Term 5 

The content this term will be split into two. You will be covering both Weather, Hazards and Climate Change and Ecosystem Management and Biodiversity. This is to ensure that all classes can reach the same point.

There has been a change in how you will access your lessons; these will now be located on Microsoft Teams and per class.

Miss Logan’s Class - Resources for Weather, Hazards and Climate Change will take the form of a booklet which should have been sent home and has also been uploaded below.

  1. Complete the work booklet for Weather; aiming to complete 1-2 major topics a week.
  2. Where appropriate – give yourself marks and feedback (there will be information in the lessons to help you do this).
  3. Complete an activity on your Term 5 KO each week.
  4. Complete the lessons which are uploaded on Ecosystem Management and Biodiversity as revision.
  5. You can upload your work or pictures of your work to Teams to receive feedback from your class teacher.
  6. Your class teacher will begin holding live lessons for you; please make sure you are reading and checking your school emails to find out when this is.

Mrs Bridges Classes - Resources for Ecosystem Management and Biodiversity will take the form of two lessons each week.

Each week two lessons will be uploaded onto the Home Learning section of the website. These lessons have been designed so that you should only rarely, if ever, need resources outside of the PowerPoint.

  1. You should complete these lessons weekly in the exercise book you have been given.
  2. Where appropriate – give yourself marks and feedback (there will be information in the lessons to help you do this).
  3. Follow the guidance on the lessons about completing homework linked to your Term 5 KO.
  4. Complete the Weather and Climate booklet as revision.
  5. Your class teacher will begin holding live lessons for you; please make sure you are reading and checking your school emails to find out when this is.
  6. Complete the wider reading linked below.
