Latin Home Learning Page Monday 23rd March - 16th April

  1. Read the stories scaena prima, scaena secunda and scaena tertia. Write a brief summary of each, followed by your opinions of each of the characters.
  2. Students should then complete the ‘Practicing the Language’ activities in Stages 22 from the CLC website. Please make sure activities are copied into lime green book.
  3. Students should then translate stories from Stage 23 (‘in thermis I, ‘in thermis II’,  ‘epistula Cephali’ & ‘Britannia perdomita;) You do not need to copy the Latin out, but remember to write your translation on alternate lines.
  4. If you get stuck at any point a Latin to English dictionary is available here.
  5. If you find you are relying on the dictionary for your translations:
    1. Stop the translation
    2. Spend time practicing your vocabulary here. Make sure it is set to Where: up to  Stage: 23.
