Department Vision Statement/ Curriculum Intent

At KS4, In Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy at The Malling School we offer exciting Level 2 and Level 3 courses. The qualifications are challenging and incorporate both practical skills and subject knowledge in great depth. Our courses are aimed at students that have an interest in Hairdressing and beauty therapy along with a level of creative ability. Hairdressing and beauty innovation is central to the way we have designed our hair and beauty course delivery. With the rising demand of Hair and Beauty professionals, our salon was established to bring a professional approach to the art of hairdressing and beauty therapy services. It is well equipped with modern equipment and qualified staff.

Many of our students have secured jobs within the industry; working in salons, travelling the world on cruise liners, working self-employed, running their own salons.
