Hello 

Well what a crazy October we had here at the centre! We were inundated with Harvest Festival food donations from local churches, schools, groups and families. We would like to say a huge thank you to you all, for your very generous donations.  

All of these items are used in our Community Supermarket and SOS program, helping to support local families. If you would like to join our Community Supermarket, or learn more about supporting us, please send a message to the Supermarket telephone via WhatsApp on 07775 989507. In the run up to Christmas we are also running a table top sale alongside the supermarket, distributing the warm clothing and toys that have been donated to us.

We are currently heading a campaign which aims to raise awareness of the impact that the current financial crisis is going to have on local people this winter. The sad reality is that, even with the proposed government support, many Tonbridge & Malling residents won’t be able to afford the rising costs of fuel, leaving them with some very difficult choices to make. Details of this campaign can be seen below.

Don’t forget we have our Citizens Advice drop-in service, which is open every Tuesday from 10am to 12.30pm. Simply come by the Centre to be connected to a trained advisor via video link - no booking or equipment required.

We’re still working hard behind the scenes to organise this year’s Christmas Fair, so if you’re interested in having a stall, or volunteering your time in any way, please email the team.
