06/07/26 - Weather Uniform Update
Dear Parent/Carer,
Uniform Arrangements for Hot Weather
We have been closely monitoring the weather forecast throughout the weekend. When we reviewed the forecast on Friday, Monday's temperatures were not expected to be as high as they are now forecast to reach. In light of the updated forecast, and to help ensure students remain comfortable and safe during the hot weather, students will be permitted to wear their official TMS PE kit throughout next week.
Monday 6th July – Friday 10th July: Official TMS PE Kit Permitted
During this period:
- Only official TMS PE kit items may be worn.
- No alternative sportswear or non-uniform clothing is permitted.
- Students who prefer to wear full school uniform may continue to do so. Ties and blazers will remain optional to help students stay comfortable in the warmer conditions.
Students should continue to bring a filled water bottle to school each day, and we encourage the use of sunscreen before arriving at school where appropriate.
We will continue to monitor the weather forecast and any updated guidance throughout the week. We will provide a further update on Friday regarding uniform arrangements for the final week of term.
We are incredibly proud of how well our students continue to uphold our uniform standards, even during periods of hot weather. As always, we will make sensible and reasonable adjustments where necessary to support student wellbeing while maintaining our high expectations.
Thank you for your continued support.
Yours sincerely,
Mr C Dmytruk
Deputy Headteacher
